Justin Collier, LMSW, is an Associate Clinician with the Bridge Residential Program at The Menninger Clinic. He provides individual, family, and group psychotherapy and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams on diagnostic formulation, treatment planning, case management, and aftercare for young adults and adolescents with complex mental health needs.
Before becoming an Associate Clinician, Collier completed a Social Work Fellowship at Menninger. His previous experience includes residential treatment for obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxiety disorders, dialectical behavior therapy skills groups, biopsychosocial and risk assessments, school-based social work, and intensive outpatient care. He has helped clients living with trauma, grief, shame, suicidality, personality disorders, and more. His clinical interests include psychodynamic psychotherapy, family systems theory, mentalization-based treatment, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Collier earned a Master of Social Work and bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Houston. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and participated in the Global Leaders of Behavioral Health Education Fellowship during graduate school.
