Dr. Tara Lemens is a Staff Psychiatrist at The Menninger Clinic and serves as an Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Lemens specializes in the treatment of treatment-resistant depression, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), and catatonia. She received additional training in TMS through the Clinical TMS Society.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Human Biology from the University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Dr. Lemens completed her psychiatry residency at the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Dr. Lemens is a member of the Clinical TMS Society, the American Psychiatric Association, and the Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians. She has also presented at the American Psychiatric Association Annual Meeting and co-authored peer-reviewed research published in Academic Psychiatry.
