Timothea Wiratman, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is an admissions nurse practitioner at The Menninger Clinic. She has five years of psychiatric nursing experience and previously worked as a psychiatric registered nurse on Menninger’s adult and Professionals inpatient and residential services. Her clinical interests include psychiatric assessment, medication management, patient education, and helping individuals and families understand their treatment options. 
 
Wiratman earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice in the psychiatry-mental health nurse practitioner track from UTHealth Houston. Her doctoral project focused on improving completion of mutual treatment plans during the first 72 hours of inpatient mental healthcare through the implementation of a documentation bundle. She also earned bachelor’s degrees in nursing and English literature from the University of Houston, graduating magna cum laude from both programs. 
 
Her clinical training included work with adolescents and adults in inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings. She gained experience in psychiatric admissions, substance use evaluations, medication management, transcranial magnetic stimulation, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.
