Visitation, phone calls & mail
Visitors are welcome, especially family and close friends. Visit times need to be arranged in advance through the primary clinician on the treatment team.

We encourage family to have regular contact with the primary clinician. The patient, family and primary clinician decides about visits and passes. We have no set policy as we attempt to individualize each treatment plan.

Phones are available on the unit and in each room. Cell phones and cordless phones are not permitted. Times for making and receiving calls will vary from patient to patient. To make calls, patients are encouraged to use a calling card or to call collect.

Mail is delivered and picked up twice daily Mondays through Fridays at the unit. Menninger sells stamps and shipping services for packages.
