Maliha B. Khan, MA, LPC-I

Therapist

Maliha Khan, MA, LPC-I, is a member of our Outpatient Therapy team and also serves as one of the facilitators for our adolescent therapy groups.

 

Her professional experience includes working as a project coordinator at Rice University and MD Anderson Cancer Center's Biobehavioral Mechanisms Explaining Disparaties Lab, where she worked in the field of psychoneuroimmunology.

 

Maliha enjoys presenting to local groups about mental health issues and has given presentations to the Texas A&M University Muslim Student Association, the Houston Baptist University Counseling Program and the MannMukti podcast. She also shares her knowledge via her YouTube channel and Instagram account, Mental Health with Maliha.

 

She is a member of the Houston Group Psychotherapy Association.

 

Maliha earned her master's degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and her bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Houston.

 

In her free time, she enjoys traveling the world and learning about different cultures. She also loves trying new restaurants and recreating healthier versions of nostalgic meals.
