Brittany Lawnin, LCSW

Staff Social Worker

Brittany is a staff social worker with special expertise in trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy and mentalization-based therapy. She has more than four years of professional experience.


She is a member of both the National Association of Social Workers and the Houston Group Psychotherapy Society. 


She earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Rhodes College and a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work. After completing a social work fellowship at The Menninger Clinic, Brittany joined the Menninger staff. 


Away from her professional role, Brittany enjoys hiking the trails of the Houston Arboretum, creating new crafts at home and exploring the local food scene.
