Cesar Seveso, LCSW

Staff Social Worker

A licensed clinical social worker, Cesar uses motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, existential psychotherapy and a solution-focused approach to promote the development of resilience, acceptance and courage.
Before becoming a social worker, Cesar taught world history and worked as a journalist. The common thread throughout his professional endeavors has been an unfailing curiosity about how people live and make sense of the things that happen to them, and the things they do to others.
He earned his master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Houston and completed his post-master's clinical training at MD Anderson Cancer Center. He has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the National University of Rosario in Argentina, a master’s degree in Journalism from New York University, and both a master’s degree in Latin American Studies and a doctorate in History from Indiana University.
If he were not a clinical social worker, he would like to be Metallica’s drummer.
