As a Menninger 360 Clinician with more than three years of professional experience, Kaitlyn has special expertise in animal-assisted therapy and SMART Recovery. She is part of a research study titled, “Most Teens Don’t,” which is determining the percentage of teens who participate in drugs, alcohol and sex.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University. She completed an internship at Family Time and New Dimensions.
Kaitlyn is extremely passionate about animals, especially dogs, which is why she decided to study animal-assisted therapy. In fact, she could talk your ear off about the benefits of animals on our emotional health, physical health and mood.
