Kate Lykes, LCSW, is Menninger's director of Community Collaborations for Adolescents and Families. A licensed clinical social worker, she has expertise in dialectical behavioral therapy and experience working with adolescents and their families.

 

She frequently gives presentations about mental health at local high schools and churches.

 

Before becoming a social worker, Kate enjoyed a successful career in financial services, including a role as the chief financial officer of a human capital consulting firm.

 

She is a member of the Houston Group Psychotherapy Association and the American Group Psychotherapy Association.

 

Kate earned her bachelor's degree in Accounting from Texas Christian University and her master's degree in Social Work from the University of Houston Graduate School of Social Work.

 

In her free time, she enjoys hiking and river rafting/paddling.
