Lynn has worked in the field of social work since 1983. During her career, Lynn has worked directly with victims of domestic violence, their children and the perpetrators of domestic violence. Her clinical expertise in is psychological trauma, which encompasses intimate family violence. She has more than 10 years of advanced training and supervision in the field of trauma and its treatment.
Lynn has discovered hope and resilience within those whose lives have been impacted by trauma.
She has worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient services, outpatient services, residential services and in-home services, with a range of client populations, including very young children (ages 2-5), children (ages 5-18) and adults (18-80). Lynn also has extensive experience working with family systems. She has worked cross-culturally and, for the majority of her career, with the economically disadvantaged in rural settings in several states in the U.S.
