Mallory Mincberg, MEd, LPC, is the program manager of the Intensive Outpatient Program for Adolescents (IOP-A) at the Bellaire location of Outpatient Services, where she works extensively with adolescents who have mood disorders or issues with personality traits.
 
Her expertise includes depression and anxiety; coping skills and strategies; interpersonal relationships; and the effects of trauma, specifically sexual assault and abuse. She is passionate about the use of, and trained in, cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy, but uses a collaborative, person-centered approach to meet each client's individual needs.
 
Mallory earned her master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Houston and her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Social Relations from Earlham College in Richmond, Ind.
 
In her free time, she enjoys copying recipes from The Great British Baking Show and training for her next 5K.
