E. Vaughan Gilmore, LCSW, LCDC, is the director of Addictions Services at Menninger, where she leads a team of approximately 15 licensed chemical dependency counselors.
Vaughan has worked as a staff social worker and addictions counselor, helping both adult and adolescent patients get on the path to recovery. She integrates evidence-based practices into individual and group therapy interventions.
Prior to her work at Menninger, Vaughan served as a program manager and therapist at the Excel Center of Fort Worth and as a program manager for Communities in Schools.
She has given presentations on a range of topics, including assessment of substance use disorders in adolescents and young adults, substance abuse interventions and motivational interviewing, to both mental health and medical professionals.
A graduate of Texas Christian University, Gilmore obtained her master's degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington.
