CPAS Team

The interdisciplinary team at CPAS uses its expertise to engage you and your family in treatment. Team members help you understand the benefits of treatment and prepare you for the next step in your journey. They help you overcome your fears or opposition to further treatment so that future hospitalizations may be avoided.

 

The team includes board-certified psychiatrists, psychologists, neuropsychologist, psychosomatic physician, internal medicine specialist, social worker, rehabilitation specialist, certified addictions counselor, nurses and other specialists as needed.

 

The psychiatrist, psychologist and social worker work full time on the unit, making them more accessible between appointments and groups.

 

Just like you, family members and referring professionals are important members of the treatment team. With your written permission, a team member contacts the mental health professional who referred you to CPAS for background information and updates them about your progress. Your team’s social worker acts as the liaison between the team and your family.
