The Menninger Clinic's Adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) program helps adults who are struggling with their mental health, interpersonal relationships, and overall recovery. The goal of the adult PHP is to stabilize the adult within a daily community of their peers by providing the skills and knowledge to reduce or avoid acute symptoms. The program gives adults daily support, connection, and tools to help face challenges, find calm, and move forward with hope.
This program is designed for adults 18+ who are either stepping down from inpatient or residential treatment or need more support than traditional outpatient or intensive outpatient care can offer. The Adult Partial Hospitalization Program benefits those who are at risk of self-harm, have exacerbated mental health symptoms such as depression, anxiety, and substance use, and have a decline in function in their day-to-day lives.
