Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff Robert J. Boland, MD, will present a free webinar, Aging: The Good and Bad, the Negotiable and the Inevitable, for mental health professionals July 27. Continuing education is available.
Aging is inevitable. However, how we age is, in part, up to us. Older age is associated with many changes, including psychological, socioeconomic, physical, and psychiatric. Although all these changes occur to some degree, many of them for the negative, the specifics vary. It is fair to say that the most remarkable individual variations during the human lifespan occur in individuals 65 and older. We can modify some of the changes through lifestyle and behavior. This talk is a tour through these various domains, in which Dr. Boland will review the research on the changes associated with age. The focus will be on what we can and cannot influence, and the talk with end with some practical advice for aging well.
This webinar will be presented via Zoom on July 27 from 2 to 3 pm CT.
