Laura Welch

Laura Welch is the Associate Director of Philanthropy at The Menninger Clinic, where she supports fundraising efforts through donor engagement, special events, and philanthropic initiatives that advance the organization’s mission. In this role, she collaborates closely with colleagues across the development team to strengthen relationships and support strategic fundraising goals. 

With more than 20 years of experience in fundraising, special events, and marketing, Laura has dedicated her career to nonprofit work. She brings a deep commitment to community impact and a strong understanding of how thoughtful engagement and stewardship support sustainable philanthropy. 

Outside of her professional work, Laura is passionate about giving back through animal rescue and remains actively involved in the dog rescue community. She enjoys travel and staying active, reflecting her ongoing commitment to service, connection, and community.
