Our Assessment Services
Comprehensive Mental Health Assessment
A full diagnostic evaluation for adults, young adults, children, and adolescents.
This assessment provides a complete understanding of a person’s emotional, cognitive, and behavioral health. An interdisciplinary team conducts interviews, psychological testing, behavioral observations, and specialty consultations to arrive at a clear diagnosis.
At the conclusion of the assessment, individuals and families receive a comprehensive set of diagnostic findings and personalized recommendations that can guide treatment planning at Menninger or elsewhere.
Comprehensive Addictions Assessment
An in-depth evaluation of concerns related to substance use.
This assessment defines the nature and severity of addictive behaviors and takes into consideration any co-occurring mental health diagnosis to identify the most effective treatment options. A Comprehensive Mental Health Assessment led by an addictions psychiatrist offers clarity and direction for individuals and families, whether this is the first time seeking help or part of an ongoing recovery journey.
Outpatient Assessments
Targeted, one-time evaluations that address specific clinical questions.
These evaluations are designed for individuals who do not need a full comprehensive assessment but still want clarity in a specific area. Options include testing for Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and neuropsychological changes.
Neuropsychiatric Consultation Service
A highly specialized evaluation for concerns affecting thinking, memory, personality, or neurological functioning.
Led by a neuropsychiatrist trained in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry, this consultation provides insight into how cognitive changes, neurological conditions, or emotional regulation difficulties may be affecting a person’s mental health.
