Mark S. Yurewicz, MD, serves as Medical Staff President-Elect and staff psychiatrist at The Menninger Clinic. He joined Menninger as a resident psychiatrist in 2017 before becoming an attending staff psychiatrist in 2020. He currently works in the Adult Treatment Program and has also cared for patients in the Young Adult Program, Professionals Program, and Bridge residential treatment program. 

 
Dr. Yurewicz earned his bachelor's degree in religious studies from Rice University and his medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center. He completed both his psychiatry residency and addiction psychiatry fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. He is board certified in both adult psychiatry and addiction psychiatry. 
 
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Yurewicz serves as an assistant professor in the Menninger Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine, where he is actively involved in the education of psychiatry residents and addiction psychiatry fellows. 
 
Outside of work, Dr. Yurewicz enjoys kayaking in the bay and cypress lakes when the weather allows. He also takes advantage of the Gulf Coast's year-round growing season by tending his home vegetable garden and native flowerbeds.
