Mark S. Yurewicz, MD, started at Menninger Clinic as a resident psychiatrist in 2017, before joining as an attending staff psychiatrist in 2020.  He currently works on the Adult Treatment Program, and in the past enjoyed treating patients on the young adult program, Professionals Program, and briefly on the Bridge residential treatment program.   

 
He completed his bachelor’s degree in religious studies at Rice University, his medical degree at UT Southwestern in Dallas, and both residency and fellowship training at Baylor College of Medicine.  He is board certified in both general adult and addiction psychiatry.
 
Dr. Yurewicz stays active in ongoing medical education at Baylor College of Medicine, with psychiatry residents and addiction psychiatry fellows. When the weather is right, he enjoys kayaking around the bay or cypress lakes. He enjoys the year-round growing season with his home vegetable garden and native flowerbeds.
