Michael McClam, MD, FAPA, is board certified in psychiatry and is an associate professor in the Menninger Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. He previously served as director of Admissions, Associate Chief of Inpatient Services, Medical Director of the Youth Division, and most recently as Medical Director of Inpatient and Residential Services.
Dr. McClam has served the president of the Medical Staff at The Menninger Clinic twice. He is a retired Captain from the U.S. Navy Reserve where he held numerous senior medical and operations positions, including serving as the Executive Officer of a large operational health unit.
Dr. McClam earned an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Morehouse College and his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association.
