Patrick Thomas, Jr., MD, PhD

Patrick Thomas, Jr, MD,PhD, is a staff psychiatrist board certified in Addiction Medicine and Psychiatry. He currently works on the Menninger 360 treatment team.
 
Prior to his work there, he was a staff psychiatrist and program manager for the Adult Treatment Program. He earned a B.A. in Biology from Rice University. After finishing a Fulbright Fellowship in Madrid, Spain, he joined the Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) at the University of Washington and graduated with an MD and PhD. He completed his residency in psychiatry at the UCLA Semel Institute where he was outpatient Chief of the Addiction Medicine Clinic and trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mentalization-based therapy for patients with borderline personality disorder and co-occurring disorders.
