Dalanna has more than 10 years of professional experience and currently serves as an addictions counselor on the Comprehensive Psychiatric Assessment Service. She has expertise in a several areas, including substance use treatment, problematic sexual behavior, and gaming addiction. She also has advanced skills in cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy.
She is a member of the Association for Addiction Professionals, the Texas Association for Addiction Professionals and the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from New Mexico State University, she earned a master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix and a master’s degree in Addictions Counseling from Grand Canyon University.
Dalanna says that she is proud to work at Menninger where she is surrounded by professionals who foster the culture of a team approach to comprehensive assessing, compassionately stabilizing and empathically treating patients. She adds that Menninger is synonymous with learning and every day she learns from the educational support provided, the professionals she works with and the patients she treats.
