A senior psychologist and the program director for Compass, our young adults program, Dr. Daza is the director of Clinical Training for The Menninger Clinic and an associate professor in the Menninger Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine.


Board certified in clinical psychology, Dr. Daza earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston, from which she also graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. She completed an internship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, and a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.


Dr. Daza has given presentations across the country on depression, smoking cessation, motivational interviewing and suicide prevention. She serves as an examiner for the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists and is a member of the Standards and Review committee of the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers.


Dr. Daza is a tad bit obsessed with Rob Lowe, enjoys her Tex-Mex and can spend hours watching Food Network while never actually making a meal.
