In a nationwide survey of psychiatrists, The Menninger Clinic has again been selected as a top psychiatric hospital on U.S. News & World Report’s annual selection of Best Hospitals.

Menninger, among the Texas Medical Center hospitals that consistently receive the prestigious ranking, has been named a top 10 national psychiatry hospital by U.S. News & World Report for 32 consecutive years. This year, Menninger tied for 10th.

In psychiatry, the U.S. News & World Report’s rankings recognize the best hospitals for patients experiencing complex disorders using the most recent three years of survey results (2020 to 2022) from physicians nationwide who are board certified in psychiatry.

“With the growing need for mental health care, we are grateful for the trust that psychiatrists have had in referring their clients to The Menninger Clinic for comprehensive diagnosis and treatment,” said President and CEO of The Menninger Clinic, Armando E. Colombo.

Over the past year, 47 percent of Menninger patients were Texans, with the remainder coming from coast to coast.
“With precision treatments,” Colombo added, “our clinical teams collaborate with each patient to hone in on the root of their mental health issues. Our clinicians guide our patients in applying new skills that allow them to handle real-life situations that have been problematic.”

Adolescents and adults have many choices for treatment services at Menninger, ranging from outpatient therapy, telehealth, community-based and in-home support, to crisis stabilization and intensive hospital treatment programs. Diagnostic services for complex mental health conditions and substance use are provided via comprehensive assessments on an inpatient or outpatient basis.
