The Menninger Clinic and Pavillon Substance Use Disorder Treatment Center have teamed up to offer a two-part webinar series Clinical Considerations in Treating Professionals to Promote Healing and Recovery.
The first webinar in the series is Cognition and Neurocognitive Functions Among Physicians with Substance Use Disorders, which will be presented June 16 from 11 am to 1 pm CT by Brian Coon, MA, LCAS, CCS, MAC; Nena Butterfield, PhD, RN, BSN; and Denise Kagan, PhD, all from Pavillon.
The second webinar in the series is Stigma Among Clinicians: When Language and Attitudes Create Barriers to Substance Use Disorder Care, which will be presented July 14 from 11 am to 1 pm CT by Daryl Shorter, MD, and Mark Yurewicz, MD. Dr. Shorter is the medical director of Addictions Services at Menninger, and Dr. Yurewicz is an addictions psychiatrist on Menninger's Adult Treatment Program.
