The Menninger Clinic is pleased to offer a free webinar, Microaggressions, Cultural Differences and Systemic Impact on Black Mental Health, for mental health professionals on February 4 from 12 to 1 pm CT. Continuing education is available.

A noted researcher, lecturer and author, Rheeda Walker, PhD, will present. She is a professor at the University of Houston.

About the Webinar

Given the preponderance of undiagnosed and untreated mood and anxiety-related concerns for Black adults and youth, more nuanced approaches to understanding psychological challenges are needed. Dr. Walker will discuss the racism-related stress, patterns of psychological disturbance, and mental health crisis highlighting relevant research from the Culture, Risk, and Resilience Lab at the University of Houston.
