Mychal Riley, LCSW-S is the Program Director for Menninger 360 at The Menninger Clinic. He is a licensed clinical social worker and supervisor with specialized training in the Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Adaptive Mentalization-Based Integrative Treatment (AMBIT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Family Therapy.
Mychal’s clinical approach emphasizes individualized, strengths-based care that supports each person’s goals, motivation, and overall well-being. He has a particular interest in social identity, culture, and systems-based perspectives in treatment.
He earned a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Science in brain, behavior, and cognitive science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He completed a postgraduate fellowship with the Institute for Human Adjustment at the University of Michigan, followed by the Menninger Clinic Social Work Fellowship.
Mychal has served in a variety of roles at The Menninger Clinic, including staff clinician, addictions counselor, and program manager, before stepping into his current role as Program Director in 2021.
