Group Therapy for Adolescents

Peers are a significant part of an adolescent's life, which is one reason why participating in an outpatient therapy group for adolescents might be helpful to your teenager.

Middle School Group

Students ages 11-14 who participate in this group examine a variety of issues that affect their relationships with family, friends and school performance. They focus on impulsivity, depression, social anxiety/shyness, peer pressure, family issues, self-esteem and self-worth.

The group meets Tuesdays from 4 to 5 pm.

Facilitators are Megan Keyser, LCSW, and Maliha Khan, LPC-I.

Adolescent Group

This group for adolescents ages 13-18 examines issues that affect relationships with family, friends, and/or school achievement: family issues, impulsivity, procrastination, substance use/addictive behaviors, depression, shyness/social anxiety, self-esteem, self-worth, social skills, Internet use, communications skills and more.
It meets Wednesdays from 4 to 5:30 pm.
Facilitators are Mallory Mincberg, MEd, LPC, and Maliha Khan, LPC-I.
